History of LGBT In this module, participants will delve into the historical context of LGBT issues, exploring how these matters have evolved over time. Students will gain insights into the origins and progression of the LGBT rights movement, understanding its impact on contemporary societies and the challenges it poses for Muslims adhering to Islamic teachings.Participants will examine the key tenets of liberalism and how they intersect with LGBT narratives, leading to both shared values and potential conflicts. They will learn to critically evaluate these intersections while remaining true to Islamic principles.

Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of Islamic rulings and perspectives on LGBT issues. They will explore the diversity of opinions among Islamic scholars and learn how different schools of thought approach these matters. This knowledge will enable participants to engage in informed discussions and decision-making within an Islamic context.The course will develop strategies to engage with and respond to various LGBT narratives from an Islamic standpoint. They will learn how to maintain a compassionate and respectful approach while adhering to Islamic teachings. In this course, participants will learn how to initiate and maintain open, age-appropriate, and Islamically grounded conversations with their children about sex and relationships, promoting a healthy understanding within the Islamic framework. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the legal and regulatory framework surrounding relationships and sex education (RSE) in educational settings.
